Community Transparency is a group of individuals who are vastly comprised of 2nd Generation Greek Australians with a genuine commitment to both the Greek Orthodox Community of Melbourne & Victoria Ltd (GOCMV) and the broader Greek Community.

The governing principles that underline all of our policies are that of accountability and transparency.

Community Transparency will stand for:

1 . We will make the GOCMV relevant

2 . We will provide financial stability for the GOCMV

3. We will introduce the principle of accountability

4. We will regain the GOCMV’s status as the premier advocate for all Greek Australians

5. We will actively seek stronger partnerships with other key Greek Organisations and Agencies

6. We will invest in our community’s educational future

7. We will redefine the Antipodes Festival to more than a two day party

8. We will introduce genuine cultural change within the GOCMV

9. We will introduce Constitutional change to be drafted and will involve all interested groups to ensure its’ adoption.

10. We will develop the GOCMV’s presence beyond Lonsdale Street
